How it works, in 3 steps

  1. 1

    Paste your link

Your restaurant menu, Google reviews page, Instagram, website or your venue's Wi-Fi details. The code is generated instantly.

  2. 2

    Style it

Choose colors, the dot style and add your logo or an emoji in the center. Then pick the object: table stand, keychain or wall sign, with your text.

  3. 3

    Download and print

Get a 3MF with both colors already assigned, open it in your slicer and print. PNG, SVG and STL are available too.

Quick guide: 3D printed QR codes that scan first time

A 3D printed QR code works just like a paper one: the phone needs to clearly tell the dark areas from the light ones. That's why this tool doesn't give you a single-color part, but an object with two separate parts —the base and the raised code— each in the color you choose.

Three formats designed to print easily

Table stand. Printed as two flat parts: the plate with the code and a foot with an angled slot, designed to hold the plate without glue. The code prints lying flat, for the best quality, and only changes color in the last few layers.

QR keychain. A compact part with a hole for the key ring. Use short links: the fewer modules the code has, the bigger they print and the better they scan at a small size.

Wall sign. Two top holes to hang it with screws, string or zip ties. Ideal for Wi-Fi, opening hours or your review page at the entrance.

Frequently asked questions

How do I make a QR code for 3D printing?

Paste your link into the generator, choose the format (table stand, keychain or wall sign), set the size and the two colors, and click “Download 3MF”. Open the file in your slicer (Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer, PrusaSlicer or Cura) and print.

What is a 3MF file and why is it better than STL for a QR code?

3MF is the standard format for modern 3D printers. Unlike STL, it stores the separate parts and their colors inside the file, so the base and the code arrive already split and colored. A QR code needs contrast between two colors to scan. If your slicer doesn't assign the colors automatically, you'll still see the two parts separately: just pick a filament for each one.

Can I print a two-color QR code on a single-filament printer?

Yes. Because the code is raised on a flat base, you only need a pause or filament change at the layer where the code starts: print the base in one color, swap filament and finish the code in the other.

What is the minimum size for a 3D printed QR code?

What matters is the size of each module (each little square): we recommend 1.5 mm or more with a 0.4 mm nozzle. The tool shows that size live and warns you if it's too small. Short links create codes with fewer modules, which are easier to print.

Does the QR code expire or have a scan limit?

No. These are static QR codes: the link is stored in the pattern itself, with no redirect server in between. They work forever, with unlimited scans, as long as your link exists. It also means that if you change the link, you'll need to generate and print a new code.

Can I add my logo or an emoji in the center of the QR code?

Yes. Upload your logo or pick an emoji and it appears in the center of the code. On the 3D object it becomes a single-color raised silhouette. Always test-scan the code with your phone before printing a batch.

Is it free? Is my data uploaded anywhere?

It's free and needs no sign-up. Everything is generated in your own browser: your link, your Wi-Fi password and your logo are never sent to any server.
